| Il matrimonio è una novità introdotta con Skyrim.
Per sposarsi bisogna parlare con Maramal del culto di Mara. Quindi, è possibile acquistare Amuleto di Mara per 200 monete d'oro da lui. Ci sono altri amuleti dle genere del gioco ma bisogna parlare per forza con lui per poter sbloccare il matrimonio. Dopo di che bisogna indossare l'amuleto e parlare con la persona che si desidera sposare. Fatto ciò isogna toranre da Maramal affinchè organizzi la cerimonia, dopo 12 ore avrà inizio e si avrà l'ultima possibilità per accettare o meno se sposarsi.
Dopo il matrimonio il partener ti chiederà dove vivrtee e dovrete indicare una vostra casa di proprietà. Troverete il congiunto a casa che cucinerà dei cibi altamente rigeneranti.
È possibile fare matrimoni etero o omosessuali.
